Web Site Design and Development
The Northern Virginia based event and meeting management firm, JWHinc. hired guidaMedia, LLC to design and build the company's site, jwhinc.com. JWHinc. is known for producing events with innovative themes and decor, so it is important to JWHinc. that the site reflects the company's creative edge.
guidaMedia, LLC accomplishes this by using a unique design and a Flash animation for the site header, and including plenty of images of some of the events JWHinc. produced and managed. The Flash header captures the home environment of the JWHinc. lady bug and her friends. guidaMedia, LLC wrote the copy, and designed all foliage, insects, and... the birds and the bees. Some images are animated to provide more visual appeal. We hope you take a few minutes to enter into the anther world and plunge into the flower bed.
The site is developed with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP.
Web Site Graphics Redesign
The Denton Maryland branch of Caroline County Public Library system hired guidaMedia, LLC to redesign the user interface of their informational site, myfamilyneeds.info. The site is an integral part of the library's response to Caroline County citizens, agency workers and church groups needing a single point of entry to acquire community information and referrals. The Web application is a fast way to find information about agencies, organizations and clubs serving Caroline County. The site is used extensively by these agencies in Denton Maryland, and Caroline County.
The Web Site Graphic Redesign project was done in the typical 3-2-1 approach, where guidaMedia presents three concepts to the Denton Maryland Branch. Then in round two the Denton Branch narrows down their selections to two concepts. In the third and final round the Denton Branch has their final concept. This method of design provides the client with a good range of design styles for their site. It also allows them to control the direction, with help, to get to a final product that the client is happy with, and is aesthetically pleasing.
guidaMedia, LLC developed the HTML template including the JavaScript and style sheets.
Graphics Redesign of Tri-Fold
For this specific project guidaMedia focused on two actions: people picking it up, and people opening it up. When the tri-fold is on display in a store or office it has to be enticing enough to be picked up. When it is mailed it must be enticing enough to be opened. There were several options guidaMedia came up with that made the tri-fold interesting enough to... behold. The one option most attactive to everyone is the triptych of a young mother and her infant. An easy winner because it offers every person of all ages something beckoning: an endearing infant; the soft touch of a woman; the love of a mother; and the religious overtones of the Madonna and child set in a modern triptych.
